Growth

An original abstract oil painting on canvas, size 12”x16” with 3/4” cradling. Sealed with satin varnish to protect the paint for years to come.

This piece features heavy prominence of yellow, specifically cadmium yellow light. This color captured my attention in the summer of 2022, and upon turning a new leaf on my struggles with mental health, I used the brightness and warmth of reds, oranges, pinks, and yellows to represent growth.
