A walk at midnight

A row of houses, all in brooding purple tones, with a singular window lit up in a striking and vibrant blood orange. The uniformity feels eerie, and an over-simplified black road runs along the grid of houses. Sealed with a satin varnish to protect the piece for years to come, and has a rich purple pigment border.

Oil on 8”x8” cradled basswood with a 3/4” profile. 

Fastened with a hanging wire on the back for easy display.
